Sanctity of Human Life Sunday

Join Next Step in honoring life and protecting the unborn.

Each January, churches and communities across the nation take time to recognize the Sanctity of Human Life Sunday—a day set aside to celebrate and protect the gift of life.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan created the Sanctity of Human Life Day on the 11th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. His vision was to shine a light on the inherent value of every human life and to encourage the defense of the unborn. To this day, the call remains just as vital.

Next Step stands on the front lines of that mission—offering hope, help, and life-affirming choices to women and families in our community. Your partnership makes that possible.

How You Can Participate

1. Get Your Church Involved

We make it easy for churches to join in recognizing this special day. Choose one or more of these simple ways to participate:

  • Invite a Next Step speaker to share during your service.

  • Start a Baby Bottle Drive—we’ll provide everything you need.

  • Host an informational table staffed by a Next Step representative.

  • Show a 2-minute video highlighting stories of hope and life.

👉 To learn more or sign up your church, email info@next-step.org or text/call 925-425-0414.

2. Support Life Through Prayer or Giving

Your prayers and gifts directly support women facing life-changing decisions. Together, we can make a difference—one heart, one family, one life at a time.
